She’s currently working on several new projects including a psychological thriller in verse.

Nick Carroll was born in New Zealand where he began a career in dance with the New Zealand Ballet. He travelled to Australia as a dancer, performer, lecturer, choreographer, artistic director, and drama teacher. Nick has a BA Hons in Contemporary Dance (London); a Diploma in Secondary teaching (New Zealand); and a Masters in Social Science/Counselling, (Uni SA). In retirement, Nick took up writing and published his ‘coming of age’ story, Is There Something Wrong with Me? Nick writes poetry and short stories.  He performs his poetry regularly, often in collaboration with a musician.  Nick lives at Streaky Bay and recently began the pub poetry event, The Streakers of Poetry Bay.

Caroline Reid is a poet and performer who grew up in Kalgoorlie WA. She acknowledges Kevin Bloody Wilson as her most important literary influence. SIARAD, her debut collection of poetry, won second prize in the international Poetry Book Awards (UK). However, being too poor to travel to collect her prize, Caroline chose instead to record SIARAD as an experimental audiobook, adapt it for theatre and perform it as a one-woman spoken word show in obscure locations across Australia. Then she went on to win the Mslexia Poetry Prize, Woollahra Digital Literary Award. Her poems work best when read out loud. Anticipate strong language, good-bad jokes, tears.
